Children’s SRP Programs: Week of 6/14

Here’s a look at what’s happening at the Children’s Library both in person and virtually this week as part of our Summer Reading Program!

In-Person

DIY Clay Creatures Craft: Visit the Children’s Library to receive a craft kit containing supplies to make a creature out of clay. Dream up a brand new creature and bring it to life, create a hybrid of your two favorite animals, mold a perfect likeness of your pet–the possibilities are endless! Turn in your creature at the Children’s Library front desk to have it displayed and entered in a contest. The creature that receives the most votes will be declared the winner and have its picture featured on the PCL Instagram, so don’t forget to vote for your favorite when you visit the Children’s Library!

Animal Tracks Snack Kit: Visit the Children’s Library to pick up a snack kit containing the ingredients to make puppy tracks and duckling tracks (pictured below)! Gluten-free options are available. Ingredients include crackers (regular and gluten-free), cheese slices, and pepperoni slices.
